#CMC17 with WriterAccess

In April I had the opportunity to collaborate with WriterAccess during their annual Content Marketing Conference in Boston. Their team connects companies who are looking for high quality content with copywriters who can deliver! They welcomed me with open arms and we had a whirlwind of 48 hours together.

CMC17 was full of marketing gurus ready to share all their wisdom, tips and tricks with attendees. Their goal was to eradicate the villain of crummy content and poor writing. The breakout sessions and keynotes were full of information about how to leverage the latest tech trends (VR!) along with timeless advice on how to engage and attract your target audience.

Highlights included an insightful "fireside" chat with Brian Halligan, co-founder of Hubspot, the Boston-based inbound marketing giant, as well as a raucous after-party at Laugh Boston, a hilarious comedy club in the Seaport District.

With 30 breakout sessions, 11 keynotes, dozens of speakers, and hundreds of attendees to capture, this job was no small task and it made for a very busy couple of days. WriterAccess has strategically integrated the footage and still photos that I captured into their marketing plan, including their website and blogs, as well as their future promotions for the 2018 rendition of the Content Marketing Conference.

Special thanks to Byron White and Tammy Hui at WriterAccess for being such kind hosts.
Here's a recap from them about Ann Handley's keynote. She had an incredible vision for bigger, bolder and braver marketing.

Below are a handful of the photos I captured at the conference.
For this project I shot stills on my Canon 5D mkIII with a Canon 24-70 mkII and a Canon 70-200 f2.8. I shot video on a Sony A7s with the same lenses and a Metabones E-EF adapter along with a Manfrotto MVM450 Monopod.
